Hi! I'm Rebecca Gunn!
I am your Tulsa-based family and child photographer! I am a wife to the husband of my dreams (literally!), I have 4 adorable children who make a thousand crumbs a day (we might keep Goldfish and Belvita products in business), I have a slight obsession with coffee (okay, maybe more the fancy espresso drinks), I love to travel (pretty much anywhere!) and I love photography.
My photography journey started when I was about 8 years old and a family member got me a film camera (#howyouknowimamillennial) for Christmas. While I didn't really know how to use it well, it sparked something in me. Fast forward about 2.5 decades and after my second baby was born, I realized that time wasn't stopping so I decided to get more intentional with my photography that I had been keeping up with during high school and some in college. While by this time several of my photos had won local and state awards, I needed to advance my portrait skills. So I enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography and completed their program while also becoming an active and featured member of Shultz Photo School out of Illinois. With the encouragement of friends and family, I am excited to take this joy of capturing the world around us and letting it reflect God's love and beauty - and turning it into a small business venture to support my kids in all of their passions (like dance, baseball, basketball, and golf - just to name a few). My background outside of photography includes the world of academia where I teach marketing as a professor - much of what I do and teach I apply into your photo session experience so that you will feel comfortable, enjoy the process, and have beautiful lasting memories!
